Foeniculum vulgare, otherwise known as Wild Fennel, can grow almost anywhere – in pastures, along the coastline, at the edge of farmland and along forest paths. Aside from its fresh, anise-flavored taste, wild fennel is also highly valued for its digestive qualities, containing a high level of potassium and antibacterial qualities.
Growing up to 2 meters tall, with bright green, feathery fronds and yellow flowers on its top, wild fennel is also rich in Vitamin C. With strong skin-softening and anti-aging properties, wild fennel is ideal for both cosmetic and culinary use.
